In this video we start the body. Remember I decided to wrap stripes into my fish so every green and every black are 2 threads. In the pattern I have them written as single passes to keep it easier. You can make your stripes as big or little as you want. I prefer two threads for small stripes. If you do a single thread for each stripe, you will end up with a blended look as it won’t have enough definition. You might like it for your fish, so just play around with the styling. If you don’t want to do stripes, do a solid color.
Remember the green and black stripes start on the tip side anchor and wrap towards the butt. The white threads start at the butt side anchor and wrap towards the tip. This is just a basic chevron being wrapped towards the butt side of the rod.
