VisualWRAP automatically calculates layout spacings for square patterns.  Use these spacings for marking the thread starting positions on your blank.

The spacings take into account the taper of your rod, which is especially important on "closed" patterns, where no part of the blank is left showing in the pattern.  Incorrect spacings lead to patterns which don't close easily.
